ÖZET
Tarihte 16 büyük Türk devleti kurulmuştur. Bunların isimlerini çocuklarımıza öğretiriz, bazılarını
derinlemesine eğitim-öğretim konusu yaparız, devletimizin temsil makamı olan Cumhurbaşkanlığı
forsunda da tarihte kurduğumuz bu devletleri sembolize eden 16 yıldızı kullanmaktayız. Ancak söz
konusu devletlere eşit ve objektif bir anlayışla yaklaştığımızı söylemek mümkün değildir. Bazılarını
bütün ayrıntıları ile inceleyerek göklere çıkarır, buna karşılık bazılarını ya görmezden gelir, ya da
övdüklerimizin gölgesinden gün yüzüne çıkarmayarak ve taraflı yaklaşarak kendi kendimizi aldatmaya
çalışırız. Bu durumun tipik bir örneğini Timur ve Timur İmparatorluğu için yapmaktayız. Türk Eğitim
Tarihi Dersi kapsamında aynı anlayışın devam ettiğini, yazılan ders kitaplarında Timur
imparatorluğundan ve eğitim sisteminden, bilim adamlarından hiç bahsedilmediğini görmekteyiz.
Hâlbuki Timurlu Devleti’nde ciddi bir eğitim, bilim ve sanat faaliyetinin olduğunu; dünya çapında bilim
adamlarının yetiştiğini biliyoruz. Özellikle İran ve Arap kaynaklarının etkisi ve Cumhuriyet döneminde
ülkemize gelen Tatar asıllı bilim adamlarımızın duygusal değerlendirmeleri bu taraflı bakış açısında
etkili olmuştur kanaatindeyiz. Diğer bir problemin de tarihçilerin ve eğitimcilerin ortak bir noktada
buluşamamalarından kaynaklandığını söyleyebiliriz. Objektif olmayan bu bakış açısının Avar’lar,
Hazar’lar, Harezmşahlar, Altın Orda ve Babür’lüler için de geçerli olduğunu görmekteyiz. Nitel bir
çalışma olan tebliğimizde, doküman incelemesine dayalı olarak Timurlu Devletindeki bilim ve kültür
faaliyetlerini, alan yazındaki eksik ve yanlış bilgilerin nereden kaynaklandığını ortaya koymaya çalıştık.
Türk Eğitim Tarihi alanında yapılacak çalışmalara ışık tutması ve özellikle öğretmen adaylarına Timurlu
Devletindeki eğitim-öğretim faaliyetlerinin tanıtılması çalışmamızın amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bu güne
kadar konunun gündeme getirilmemesi çalışmamızın önemini ortaya koymaktadır.

ABSTRACT
16 great Turkish States were established in history. We teach our children the names of these, some of
them in-depth education. we use 16 stars to symbolize these states that we have established in history in
the presidential post, which is the representative. Office of our state. However, it is impossible to say
that we approach these states with an equal and objective understanding. We try to deceive ourselves by
examining some of them with all the details, but we either ignore some or we try to deceive ourselves
by not exposing ourselves to the shadow of what we praise. We are making a typical example of this
situation for the Timur and Timur Empire. We see that the same understanding continues within the
scope of Turkish history. The same understanding continues within the scope of Turkish education
history course. in the textbooks, we see that there is no mention of the Timur Empire and the educational
system of scientists.
However, we know that there is a serious Education, Science and Art activity in the Timurid State, and
scientists around the World are growing. We believe that the influence of Iranian and Arab sources and
the emotional evaluations of our Tatar-based scientists who came to our country during the Republican
period heve been effective in this regard. We can say that another problem stems from the fact that
historians and educators cannot meet at a common point. This non-objective perspective also applies to
the Avars, the Khazars, the Harezmshahs, the Golden there and the Baburians. In our paper, which is a
theoretical study, we tried to determine the scientific and cultural activities of the Timurid State based
on document review, from where the missing and wrong information in the Summer originated. The
aim of our study is to shed light on the studies to be carried out in Turkish education history and
especially to introduce teacher candidates to educational activities in the Timurid State. The fact that the
ıssue has not been raised up to this reveals the importance of our work.
